The 30th World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb 2020 begins tonight at 19:30 with the official opening ceremony at the SC Cinema.

Children and Youth Programme includes Films for Children Competition, an attractive Family Programme, optical toys workshop and free events at Zagreb’s cultural centres.

At the Student Centre’s French Pavilion the press conference took place, announcing the 30th World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb 2020.

Animafest’s Student Film Competition is traditionally deemed one of the most playful and free programme segments of this prestigious festival.

Animafest Zagreb 2020 is the most representative display of the current state of Croatian animation in the global context

For the most prestigious competition section of the Animafest Zagreb 2020, the selection committee selected 40 works from 27 countries.

Student Film Competition Selection Committee decided to award Animafest Zagreb 2020 Best Animation School Award to The Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź.
