Besides the announcement of the celebration of 40 years of festival, competitive program and winners of prizes Animafest Council were announced at first Animafest 2012 press conference.

French - Italian animated production, Elenoir’s secret, film directed by famous Dominique Monféry (Destino) won the Audience Award at 21st Animafest.

Saturday brings both the Pope and the Simpsons, the best European short films – Cartoon d’Or, and after the award winning ceremony at 8pm there is the new Švankmajer. On Sunday take a look at what you missed during the week.

My Dog Tulip winner of Grand Prix, Special Mention to Metropia and Golden Zagreb Award to The Jungle by Tibor Banoczki. Animafest is still on today. After Zagreb, Animafest moves to Rijeka, where is it hosted by Art kino Croatia 10-12 June.

The Ugly Duckling, a swan, a dog named Tulip, Kerity, Coraline, Leon Prozak, a girl who wanted to become a boy and The Beatles star in the films from today’s Animafest programme.
