Synopsis


There is a house. The house starts falling apart. Roof and wall collapses, slowly revealing belongings inside the house. They too collapse and break and disappear. When all goes away, a person appears, left alone in the remains.

Yumi Joung


Yumi Joung (1981) studied Fine Arts at the Kookmin University (2000-2004), and Animation Directing at the Korean Academy of Film Arts (2004-2006). Joung’s graduation short animation, My Small Doll House, has been screened in the Competition section in Hiroshima and at many other international film festivals. Dust Kid (2009) has been screened at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight and over 50 other international film festivals, and received more than 10 international awards. In addition to films, she made two picture books.
