Francie Liebschner (1983, Dresden) trained as Technical Assistant for Design in Media at the Academy for Information and Communication Design Dresden (2003-2005), and later studied media design at Bauhaus University in Weimar (2005 – 2010). Since 2008 she has worked as a freelancer producing animated films. In 2011 she completed her debut film Der Schatz. Junior Producer and Compositing Supervisor at Balance Film GmbH since 2011 and chairwoman of board of the German Institute for Animated Film (DIAF) since 2014.
