Synopsis


Lili refuses to let go of her childhood as she fights a sandstorm that threatens to take it away. In the heart of the storm she rediscovers the joy of childhood, but is forced to choose between illusion and reality.

Hani Dombe


Hani Dombe is a filmmaker and storyteller who specialises in stop-motion animation, based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Hani is a graduate of the design academy Ascola in Tel Aviv, specialised in visual communication arts, and also a graduate of the Rakefet Levi's Design school for performing arts. Her previous film Fading Note participated in festivals around the world and was broadcast on TV channels in the US and Europe.

 

Tom Kouris


Tom Kouris is a graduate of the Photography Department at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, and a winner of a two-year merit scholarship from the America Israel Cultural Foundation. He then studied animation, focusing in stop-motion, at the Minshar for Art Academy, Tel Aviv. His films Sweet Dreams, Chair and Table, Regulator and Bore participated in many festivals and exhibitions in Israel and around the world. He lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel.
