Living in Beijing, the mega city, everyone is, somehow, being consumed by different kinds of modern civilisation and life format. In metro, bus, office buildings, people are treated like raw materials, cooked into dishes, and placed onto dining table every day and night.
Shuyu Xiong, born in 1991, Hunan Province, China. She got her master's degree at the Academy of Art and Design, Tsinghua University. Day, the Chef is her graduation work in Tsinghua. Currently she lives in Beijing.
