The World Festival of Animated Film Animafest Zagreb 2013 dedicated a part of this year’s programme to Croatia’s upcoming EU accession. The programme named Was ist Europa? will screen films that portray the social and political life of Europe in the 20th century until today.

We wish to take this unique opportunity and invite all illustrators, animators, comic book artists, caricaturists, designers and others to create a caricature, illustration or a comic strip and thus comment on this specific moment when Croatia will become part of European Union’s social and political life.

All comments, juicy, witty, funny, critical, celebratory, black, red, colourful – all kinds – are welcome!
