The 33rd World Animated Film Festival – Animafest Zagreb 2023 will begin with the opening ceremony in SC Cinema tonight at 8:30 p.m

The genre of cognitive estrangement and novum, alternative past and future, critical thinking, utopia and dystopia, speculation and exploration is in the focus of Animafest 2023’s theme programme.

Animated films unite numerous artistic genres and that is exactly why they are so attractive to those who encounter them for the first time.

Animafest`s Student Film Competition – the characteristically exuberant, unbridled and talented international artistic competition – took shape in 2023 with 41 films.
