Synopsis

Conformis tells a story about being other. It is about the dance, as a feeling of individuality, immediately threatened by the march of the masses. Our barefoot friend is about to discover his own dance, which is why he has to escape.

Martin Grötzschel

Martin Grötzschel (1986, Chemnitz) has been studying since 2010 at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg Animation and Visual Effects. Before his studies he worked as animator and compositer in different productions. Since 2010 he is head of the German Institute for Animated Films (DIAF).

Benjamin Manderbach

Benjamin Manderbach (1988, Hannover) studies Direction of Photography at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. He worked on projects as assistant for direction and photography.
