Synopsis

This is a story of a strange hairdresser, the royal family's favourite. He lives without worrying, engaged in his favourite work and indifferent to love and flirtation. In one word – he is a genius. But one day he meets the king's daughter, a girl with tremendously long hair. He falls in love with her hair and goes mad. The film is based on Aubrey Beardsley's poem The Ballad about the Barber.
 

Ekaterina Kolosvskaya

Ekaterina Kolosovskaya was born in 1989. She began drawing at the age of three, but has no formal artistic education. In 2007 she enrolled in the study of animation direction at VGIK (Russian Institute of Cinematography). She works as a book illustrator.
